Designing Your Wedding Day Flowers at Your Free Consultation

Once you’ve contacted us, we’ll either arrange a time for us to meet face-to-face or to have a Zoom call. For those of you having a bigger wedding, we strongly recommend an in-person meeting initially, and for those having a smaller wedding, an initial Zoom should suffice, although a face-to-face is also welcome.

At the consultation, this is what we’ll discuss with you, the bride;

  • Ideas for colours and tones you have (or we can go through options at the meeting)

  • The venue you’ve booked

  • Which particular choices of flowers you’d like or specifically do not like

Please feel free to bring as many details and ideas with as you want (including images of your dress) – you can never have too many ideas!

And if you have no clue, that’s not a problem either – creating ideas is what we do, so please don’t worry.

When we’ve covered all the details, we’ll first confirm date availability, and then will start discussing what would look nice and work for your specific venue. To help you visualise this, we’ll create a mood board that uses a variety of images to capture your chosen colour palette and flower ideas.

Your Wedding Flowers Quotation & Deposit

To make sure everything we discuss at the consultation and the scope of the mood board is going to be affordable for you, it’s critical you at least have an idea of your budgetary range before you arrive. That way, you can be 100% realistic about what we can deliver for you.

With your requirements clear, we'll give you a quote, and will then create your mood board so you can see your ideas come to life. After the consultation has finished and you've talked everything over at home, when you confirm you'd like us to move ahead and supply your flowers, we'll ask for a 20% holding deposit so we can book in your project and block out our schedule.

The Preparation Process for Your Wedding Flowers & Finalisations

In the days following the consultation, we’ll get started on the essential, background, preparation work, which includes;

  • Contacting your venue manager

  • Contacting our specialist flower wholesalers about your flowers’ availability

  • Starting to plan the logistics of what can actually be delivered for the specific dates

Especially for bigger weddings, it is essential we have another catch up c.4-5 weeks before your wedding date to discuss any additional changes and alterations you may need. Typically these will be to do with;

  • The amount of flowers needed

  • The type of flowers you want

  • Changes you’d like to make to the colour scheme

  • Any additional requests

  • Etc.

Once we’ve got all of the updates confirmed, it’s at this point we place a confirmation order with our wholesalers to make sure the bride will get exactly the flowers she wants and when she wants them!

The final stage of the project is to get your weddings flowers delivered on the day.
